From pop-up dining to friendly competition, the college’s catering and hospitality students will be showcasing their skills in a series of events designed to highlight their passion for the industry.

The week kicks off on Wednesday, 26th March, with a Pre-Launch event at L6, where guests can enjoy a taste of the Best of British menu, expertly prepared by the students.

On Thursday, 27th March, the focus turns to baking, with a Pop-up Bakery at L6 @ B&FC Bispham Campus featuring a selection of classic treats.

Friday, 28th March, sees the return of a firm favourite—Fish and Chip Friday at L6 @ B&FC Bispham Campus, offering a classic dish made to perfection. Please note that this event is for staff and students at the college only.

With all the excitement building, Monday, 31st March, is all about preparation. Students and staff will be hard at work behind the scenes, with social media giving followers a sneak peek at what’s to come.

From Tuesday, 1st April, the college heads out into the town, as L6 @ B&FC takes over Abingdon Street Market, giving students the chance to serve up their creations to the public. Later that evening, it’s time for a more relaxed affair with a Paint and Prosecco Evening at L6 @ B&FC Bispham Campus. Bookings for Paint and Prosecco are by email only and places are limited.

The market takeover continues into Wednesday, 2nd April, before Thursday, 3rd April, brings a touch of elegance with an Afternoon Tea Celebration, rounding off the week in style. Book for Afternoon Tea Celebration via the college online booking system or by email.

Adding to the excitement, B&FC Culinary Skills students will also take part in a competition, with the winner earning the chance to have their starter featured on the menu at Marco’s at Holiday Inn throughout Blackpool Restaurant Week.
