The Tray-Mendous Dash officially launches Blackpool Restaurant Week 2026, celebrating the people who keep Blackpool’s restaurants, bars, and cafes running day in and day out.

Taking place at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, hospitality competitors from local venues will take part in a fun and light-hearted challenge, carrying trays with three flute glasses of coloured water along a course with curves.

The focus is on balance and control, not speed. The Dash is a competitive event with individual winners and prizes, and is designed to be inclusive and accessible to participants of all abilities, with adjustments provided where needed.

If friends and family would like to come along to cheer you on, they are very welcome. To help manage access through the Tower and into the Ballroom, a registration list will be in place on arrival, and attendance will be limited to family and friends of competitors only.
