Join Jessica Rost, LeftCoast’s artist in residence, for a live nettle soup demonstration at Abingdon Street Market on Thursday 12th March.

As part of her Medicine in the Rubble project in Revoe, Jessica is growing a medicinal garden with the community celebrating “pioneer plants”, which are often overlooked as weeds.

Watch her transform freshly picked nettles into homemade soup and learn how every part of this remarkable plant can be used as medicine. Rich in iron, an anti-inflammatory, and cleansing for the body, nettles are powerful and delicious.

Demonstrations take place at 1pm and 2pm. Come along, learn something new, and take the recipe home with you.
